Alijah Vera-Tucker and Ben Brown have been ruled out for Thursday night's matchup against the Chicago Bears, as head coach Mike Vrabel announced during his final press conference of the short week. A hamstring injury and a knee injury , respectively, kept the two offensive linemen sidelined throughout preparations.

Cornerbacks Carlton Davis III, Karon Prunty and Channing Canada will also be missing in the Midwest, while four members of the active roster stand as questionable.

Here's the rest of the game statuses leading up to the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.

New England's left guard and right guard had been ruled out on the way to what became a 26-19 win last Sunday. The musical chairs sent Matt Pryor and Walter Rouse in along the interior. No sacks nor penalties followed for what remained of the front five against the New York Jets. The October signing as well as the August trade acquisition that stepped in for 46 and 14 offensive downs, respectively, are now set to start over the shoulders of center Jared Wilson.

There were three cornerbacks among the inactives for the AFC East meeting at Gillette Stadium. And despite recently returning as a limited participant , the Patriots' secondary will be again without Davis for a third consecutive game. The veteran outside starter has dealt with a neck issue dating back to September and had missed the previous two full weeks of practice. That leaves 2025 waiver claim Charles Woods and team captain Marcus Jones on deck for expanded roles alongside All-Pro Christian Gonzalez. Hamstring injuries will also keep a pair of rookies who have combined for 76 snaps on special teams out for Thursday night.

No Patriots check in with a doubtful designation, but the Bears will likely be without two linebackers under the lights at Soldier Field after one was already ruled out.

Edwards was a partial participant on Wednesday while working through a hamstring injury. He stands with 16 tackles and one interception through five starts this fall for Chicago's front.

The lone questionable Patriot not to practice in full on Wednesday was Moses, who has been listed as limited since the initial estimation . The 35-year-old captain had exited just nine offensive downs into last weekend's start at right tackle. In his absence due to a foot injury, rookie No. 28 overall pick Caleb Lomu went from reporting as an eligible tight end to stepping in as the bookend opposite blindside starter Will Campbell.

New England could elect to activate swing tackle Marcus Bryant from injured reserve before Thursday's 4 p.m. ET deadline for roster moves. The 2025 seventh-rounder's 21-day practice window opened midway through October. He has since ramped up to full participation as well as no game designation. With two offensive linemen officially ruled out, the 53-man roster currently includes seven options available. The organization brought back blockers Jacob Rizy and Andrew Rupcich on the practice squad amid the attrition.
