You get your wish. Last poll piece, with us covering the Tuesday rankings releases instead.

And in those polls, the Miami Hurricanes retained their top spot in both after a 38-35 hold-on-to-your-butts win over the North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday night in Chapel Hill.

Georgia moved up to No. 2 behind Miami after an emphatic 27-8 win over the Florida Gators in Atlanta. Ohio State vacated the spot with a 30-18 loss to the USC Trojans on Saturday night in Los Angeles falling to 11 in the AP Poll and 10 in the Coaches Poll.

Notre Dame, the Hurricanes' next opponent, moved up to No. 4 in the AP Poll and held at No. 6 in the Coaches Poll after a lethargic but eventually workmanlike 35-13 win over Navy on Saturday.

Wake Forest annihilated Virginia 51-7 on Saturday. Their reward? Nothing. They held pat at No. 14 in the AP Poll. They did move up one spot to No. 14 in the Coaches Poll. I bet Wake Forest would be higher if their name was not Wake Forest.

The first CFP rankings come out Tuesday at 7:00 pm ET on ESPN.
